Channel Account Manager

iZotope seeks an experienced and motivated retail Account Manager to both help support our existing network of resellers in North America, and seek out new tier 1 resellers aligned with iZotope’s goals and values. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving a network of resellers to deliver outstanding sales and market share growth, excellent forecasting and planning skills, and have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse cross­-functional team including marketing, finance, and operations.

Job Duties

  • Exceed bookings targets as established by the GTM team.
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the region that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability, in cooperation with the Director of Sales and GTM team.
  • Travel throughout your region visiting resellers and key customers approximately 20% of the time.
  • Prepare action plans for each reseller based on strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in each territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and promotions.
  • Develop channel marketing materials as needed to support NPIs, campaigns, and sales efforts
  • Present progress reports, as requested by the Director of Sales and other members of leadership.
  • Establish and attain sales goals for resellers and identify opportunities to improve existing business and new business development.
  • Train resellers’ personnel with respect to using marketing and sales tools.
  • Drive market, competitive, and client research initiatives in region.
  • Support general marketing activities and share industry information and customer feedback.
  • Provide clarity, set boundaries, and set clear standards for high performance with channel partners.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to think strategically, create and deliver senior­-level presentations and high­-level business case justifications.
  • Proven ability to manage sales, marketing, technical support and administrative functions.
  • Deep understanding of MI Software industry and relationships with key US resellers a plus.
  • Experience in building strategic partnerships and track record of growing a market.
  • Good planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Have a “do whatever it takes” mind­set with a strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to effectively deliver clear, concise communication.
  • Interactive style that provides for open, frequent and constructive communication.
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time.
